To answer the questions about speaking-

How long should my talk last?

Talks should last for 20 mins, with 10 mins q/a and crossover time

What equipment will there be?

Most people prefer to use their own laptop when presenting but we can source you one if you just want to email your presentation before hand or bring it on a USB memory stick.

There will be a projector in every room.

What should I talk about?

Firstly, no sales pitches, the talk topic should describe what you are talking about- we have had issues of some people making out a title that was completely unrelated to their sales pitch.

Keep your talk topic fresh, entertaining and fun, this is an informal event and no one wants to be bored.

If your an expert networker.. share some secrets. If your a consultant on sales, share your knowledge.

What if someone is talking about a similar topic?

We do not mind, everyone should have a voice- but if the topic is the same, it can be repetitive. Everyone has a different outlook on a topic and you should try and make your talk unique.

Can i have my talk video’d?

If anyone who is making a presentation on Monday wishes it to be filmed, they can contact Relive
Productions, through the facebook page or directly to 075 1880 9108 so
that we can film it for them for a very reasonable fee of £25

The hard bit…

People vote with their feet- if your talk is to an empty room, the people may have deemed it not worth listening to. (we can’t usher bodies into a room to please you)
